Kanye West Sued For Sexual Harassment, Wrongful Termination By Ex-Assistant

Kanye West’s ex-personal assistant, Lauren Pisciotta, has sued her former employer for sexual harassment and wrongful termination. Pisciotta claims the rapper created a hostile work environment and alleges West sent her explicit texts and photos, and masturbated in front of her. According to the complaint, Pisciotta is seeking compensation for her wrongful termination along with breach of contract, and is suing West and his Yeezy businesses for fraud, unpaid wages, and intentional infliction of emotional distress. Pisciotta said she was promoted to Chief of Staff of West’s various companies in September 2022, but he fired her a month later. She claims she was offered $3 million in severance pay, but never received it. A legal representative for West denies the allegations made in the complaint, and says, “Ye will be filing a lawsuit against Ms. Pisciotta.” (People)
