Los Angeles Lakers forward Ziaire Williams turned a Bruno Mars concert into a major personal milestone when he proposed to his longtime girlfriend, model Paris Timan.
The proposal happened during Mars’ October 2 show at SoFi Stadium in Inglewood, California. As Mars performed Marry You, Williams got down on one knee while confetti filled the stadium. Timan accepted, drawing cheers from the crowd around them.
Mars also acknowledged the moment from the stage, adding to the celebration as the couple embraced.
Williams, a professional basketball player who recently joined the Lakers, has now added an engagement to an already eventful stretch in his life and career. Timan has also built her own profile as a model and social media personality.
The public proposal matched the upbeat mood of Marry You, a song that has long been associated with weddings and romantic celebrations. For Williams and Timan, the concert became the setting for a memorable new chapter in their relationship.
