Las Cruces police issued 57 traffic citations during a one-hour enforcement operation Wednesday afternoon along El Paseo Road.
The Las Cruces Police Department’s Traffic Unit issued 57 citations during a one-hour traffic enforcement operation held Wednesday along El Paseo Road.
The 57 citations included 18 for speeding, 16 for having no proof of insurance and 14 for failing to provide vehicle registration.
Other citations were issued for miscellaneous traffic offenses such as illegal window tint, no driver’s license, improper seatbelt usage and operating a vehicle while utilizing a cell phone.
The traffic enforcement operation began about 2 p.m. Wednesday, Feb. 11, 2026. LCPD anticipates conducting similar traffic enforcement operations in the coming weeks.
