Travis Scott Sat For Eight-Hour Deposition In Astroworld Suit

Travis Scott was questioned for about eight hours in Houston on Monday in a civil deposition regarding the 2021 Astroworld festival tragedy. Those connected with the suit are under a gag order, so not much has been revealed about the case. But Scott's lawyers are adamant that he's not in any criminal trouble. “Travis Scott’s deposition is typical legal procedure. What is not typical is how the media continues to focus on him despite being cleared of any wrongdoing by extensive government investigations, including by the Houston Police Department,” his rep, Ted Anastasiou, said in a statement. A grand jury decided in June not to indict Scott over the incident, but a nearly 1,300-page investigative report by Houston police revealed that festival workers had warned about possible deadly consequences.
