Kim Kardashian reportedly gave out a fake picture of her new daughter North, in order to catch friends trying to sell her out; and it worked. Sources say someone took the photo to the tabloids and tried to sell it. There's no word who that "friend" is, or what his or her punishment will be.
Mariah Carey took to her Twitter last night to announce that she isn't quite ready to release her new album, The Art of Letting Go. Though the album's initial release date was July 27, the singer says putting it out then wouldn't do it justice. Carey writes that she is too immersed in the "creative process" and doesn't want to "exclude any meaningful songs." She promises fans that they will hear the album when it's meant to be heard. This will be her 11th studio album.
According to CNN,Chris Brown has been officially charged with hit-and-run and driving without a license after he rear-ended a car in Los Angeles last month. The singer took to Twitter after the charges were filed and claimed that he exchanged insurance info after the accident and that he in fact has a driver's license. The misdemeanor charges could land the 24-year-old in jail for up to four years if he is found guilty, due to him being on probation for the 2009 incident with Rihanna.
"Independence Day" director Roland Emmerich says Will Smith will not be back for the sequel because, quote, "He's too expensive, but he'd also be too much o a marquee name. It would be too much." He added that the cast will consist of, quote, "maybe half of the people that you would know from the first film and the other half people who are new."
