Its official, Bruno Mars will headline the half-time show at the first New York Area Super bowl. The announcement was made during Fox's pregame show. In releasing this information five months before the game, Fox, the National Football League and halftime sponsor Pepsi lengthened the timeline to hype their tie-ins to Mars' performance. In past years, the halftime entertainment was announced later in the fall. With Super Bowl being in New York this year, don't you think Pepsi should have picked a entertainer from the area? Maybe Jay-z?

Nelly has released the cover art for his seventh album M.O. The album title is the initials for his home state of Missouri. The St. Louis MC will release the effort on September 30th. M.O. features collaborations with Nicki Minaj, T.I., Future, 2 Chainz, Nelly Furtado, Trey Songz, and Florida Georgia Line.
